RE:DESIGN Creative Directors Conference has announced its initial list of speakers and a keynote with Paula Scher of Pentagram. The event will take place November 7 & 8 in Palm Springs, California.
Paula Scher began her graphic design career as a record cover art director at both Atlantic and CBS Records in the 1970s and in 1991 she joined Pentagram as a partner. She has developed identity and branding systems, promotional materials, environmental graphics, packaging and publication designs for a wide range of clients including, among others, Bloomberg, The Museum of Modern Art, The Public Theater, and the New York City Ballet. Her work is represented in the permanent collections of major museums around the world.
RE:DESIGN is a series of conferences focused on creatives and the design world. The conferences, with a focus on small scale discussions eschews the typical panel format. The result is an atmosphere where attendees can interact, network, and learn from each other. RE:DESIGN/Creative Directors will bring together leading creative directors from traditional design firms, interactive agencies, in-house groups, ad agencies, and other branding, design, web and UX agencies.
